Hi, I’m Maddie.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in life transitions, trauma counseling, and career counseling.

At my core, I value harmony, sincerity, authenticity, humor, and love.

These values shape both who I am and how I approach therapy. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, comforting, down-to-earth, and collaborative — a place where you feel seen and heard without judgment.

Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, processing trauma, or searching for a renewed sense of purpose, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll uncover your inner strengths, set clear goals, and build a path forward that feels true to you.

My practice is built upon:

Narrative
Therapy

Understanding and reauthoring your story and past experiences

Acceptance +
Commitment Therapy

Using values-based decision making to drive change and increase self-awareness and acceptance

Contemporary Psychoanalysis

Understanding how relationships shape the way you see yourself and interact with the world

Solution-Focused Therapy

A process that is goal-focused and strengths-based

This is the boring part, but it’s important you know that I am qualified to be your therapist.

I received my Master of Science (MS) in Community and Trauma Counseling from Thomas Jefferson University.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon and Washington, DC.

I have a graduate certificate in Counseling and Life Transitions from George Washington University, and I completed a year-long fellowship at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis (ICP+P). I have been trained in various advanced trauma interventions.

I was certified as a Career Development Facilitator (CCDF) in 2019, and have honed my skills in career counseling for 4+ years at Georgetown University, focusing on undergraduate career exploration and teaching professional development skills in the Georgetown Pivot Program.

I specialize in young adult populations, working the majority of my career with college students, recent graduates, and folks in early adulthood.

Lastly, as a former NCAA Division I athlete, ex-professional soccer player, and youth coach, I know firsthand the unique pressures that come with competing at a high level. With years of experience working with elite athletes, I currently serve as the sole mental health provider for Portland State Athletics and have worked with athletes across various universities and club programs.
